2010 CALIFORNIA CO-OP CONFERENCE

The second California Co-op Conference took place on April 9 & 10 in Santa Rosa, and was described in evaluations as inspirational, productive, fantastically relevant, amazing and informative. Attendees learned about local currencies, how to revitalize an existing co-op and how co-ops can work to support sustainable food systems. CCCD thanks the many volunteers and sponsors who helped put this conference on the map!

Other notable topics covered at the conference included; the future of food co-ops, cooperation on the international market, and marketing the co-op model to our youth.
